The Assam state government provide opportunities to all meritorious students to get a free scooty. The name of the scheme is “Pragyan Bharati Scooty Scheme”. This scheme is only for the girls’ students in Andhra Pradesh state who will score 80% or more in their higher secondary exams. Now the government has increased the percentage of marks for the session 2025- 26 under the scheme. Previously, the government selected all the girls who got 60% or above marks in their HS exams. But now, because students have to score at least 80% marks to get the free Scooty from the Assam government.

Assam Scooty Scheme Distribution Process
- The government will list you wrote the scooty to all the girls who will secure 80% or above marks. The final list of all the eligible girls is prepared by the Assam State School Education Board.
- Then they will upload the list of selected beneficiaries on the official Directorate of Higher Education website.
- The girls’ student can check out their names in the list and start the application process.
- After the submission of the application, the director of Higher Education provides the list of eligible beneficiaries to the Nodal principal, who will further distribute the scooter to the girls.
- All The Eligible girls will get the appreciation certificate from the nodal principal and submit it to the scooter dealer.
- The nodal principal also submits the amount of scooter registration and insurance to the dealer.
- After the proper verification of all the documents and the application form, the nodal principal provides the amount to the dealer, and the girl student will collect the scooty.

The Pragyan Bharati Scheme provides the Scooty accessories, such as a helmet. The government will not pay for any other accessories.
