Nai Roshni Scheme launched by the indian Ministry of Minority Affairs. Under this initiative, the government want to empower women belonging to the minority category by providing them with entrepreneurship training so that they can become self-dependent. The government is mainly focusing on women between 18 and 65 years old. The women will get the leadership development and Entrepreneurship training through NGOs and civil society under the scheme. The scheme was launched in 2012.
The Indian government collaborated with the public and private NGOs and offices in India to provide skill training to the minority women. The government want to provide the opportunity to those women who have been facing discrimination and struggling with the financial conditions due to a lack of knowledge and skill training. The government want to develop the leadership quality among these women and help them to stand in society. About Nai Roshni Scheme 2025
The Indian ministry wants every woman to know about their ability and develop leadership qualities in them. The government provides the knowledge, tools and techniques to these women and empowers them. For the upliftment of the minority community womens in the society, the government launched the Training programe. The various training programs are organised by the government under which women can enrol and learn different skills.

Eligibility for Women
- All the womens who want to apply for the scheme must be permanent citizens of India.
- The women should belong to the minority community.
- The age requirement for women is 18 to 60 years.

For the enrollment procedure, the women should provide a few important documents:
- Aadhar card
- Voter ID card
- Age proof
Eligibility Criteria for Organisation Selection
- They will release an advertisement on the official website of the Ministry of Minority Affairs or in the new local newspaper, where they invite the applicants to submit a proposal under the scheme.
- The organisation must provide all the documents on the official website of OAMS, which is the online application management system of the Ministry of Minority Affairs.
- They will only accept the online application from the organisations.
Selection of Organisation
- The Ministry of Minority Affairs select the organisation on the basis of a few eligibility criteria that are stated here.
- The organisation must be registered and operational for the last 3 years.
- The organisation must upload the last 3 years’ audited annual accounts details on the official website to show their financial Viability.
- They must teach at least one project for women’s development and must upload the evidence of proof.
- The government provide the first preference to the local ground-level organisations which are certified.
- The organisation is fully equipped and must have a facility to provide training to at least 25 trainees with a training space, a residential boarding facility and toilets.
