Deepam 2 Scheme Details
The aim of the state government behind the free gas cylinder is to provide some financial stability to the people who belong to the lower class. The state government is currently working on the third face. The scheme is for the people of rural areas, and the family can utilise the Subsidy amount for their essential needs. The scheme will also encourage the families to use LPG gas for their daily cooking purposes. The government have already spent more than 700 crore on the scheme, which offers 3 cylinders per year to all the eligible beneficiaries.

This is part of the Andhra Pradesh super six election promise. Firstly, all the beneficiaries have to pay the cylinder booking amount at full price. They will get the delivery of a gas cylinder within 24 hours in the urban areas and within 48 hours in rural areas. The government will select the families who will get the Subsidy amount of a free gas cylinder on the basis of their financial conditions and income status. The Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has recently made some changes in the scheme and has now decided to pay the free gas cylinder Subsidy amount in advance to all the beneficiaries. Their main focus is to provide good service, timely delivery and great customer experience to their people. The government will transfer the Subsidy amount for all three cylinders at once into the bank account of the people.. This is a new step by the TDP party.
