The Delhi State government is going to expand the old-age pension scheme and cover more beneficiaries under the scheme. The government added 50000 more senior citizens under the scheme. - The application form is available on the Delhi E-District portal. All the beneficiaries can register on the citizen login option under the district social welfare office.
- During the application process, the senior citizen must have an Aadhaar number, which is a mandatory document to fill out the application form.
- Always carry all your mandatory documents of proof and upload the scanned copy of these documents with the application form.
- Upload the income self-declaration, one passport-size photograph and other documents.

Delhi Old Age Pension Scheme 2025
Along with the addition of more beneficiaries under the schemes, the government will also increase the pension amount. All the elderly people now get rupees 2500 per month who are 60 years of age. Those who are above 60 will get the pension between Rs 2500 and 3000 per month. The Delhi government also implement many other welfare schemes under the Sewa Pakhwada campaign. This pension scheme is the old scheme, but now the government is implementing the scheme with a larger amount and accepting more applications under the scheme. Increase Pension Amount
- The pension amount for 60 to 69 years is Rs 2500 per month.
- The person from the SC ST minority community will get an additional 500 rupees per month.
- Those who are above 70 will get 3000 per month.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be above 60 years.
- All the residents who have been living in Delhi for the past 5 years are eligible for the scheme.
- To fill the application form under the scheme, the applicant must have an annual income of less than 1 lakh from all sources.
- Those who have the Aadhar card with a Delhi permanent residence are eligible for the scheme.
- The applicant must have a single-operated bank account.
- The senior citizens who are already getting the pension under other Government and Central government schemes are not eligible.
