Students from the SC, ST, BC, minority, EBC, and Kapu Communities have the opportunity to receive an overseas scholarship. The Andhra Pradesh Government provides this scholarship for those who want to pursue a post-graduation, Ph.D. and MBBS degree. AP Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scheme 2025

The student who wants to pursue their post-graduation degree or any other diploma abroad can avail the benefit of the Andhra Pradesh overseas scholarship. The state government is offering the scholarship for SC, ST, BC, EBC, and Kapu community students. All the students must have 60% minimum marks to get the scholarship and must have qualified for the English proficiency.

The government provide around 10 to 15 lakh per student to complete their education abroad. The students from subjects like science, agriculture, management, nursing,  social science, etc, can get the scholarship amount. The officials will screen the application submitted by the students and then provide them with the scholarship amount.

Eligibility For Students

• The student must be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh state.
• The maximum age requirement is 35 years on the date of application.
• The government provided the scholarship to only one student in a single family.
• The annual income of the families should not be more than 8 lakh.
• If you are already getting any other scholarship from the state or Central Government, then you are not eligible for the scheme.

Educational Qualifications to Get a Scholarship

• With the student who want to pursue you for the post-graduation courses, they must have 60% marks in their degree, such as Engineering, Management, Social Science, medicine and nursing, agriculture Sciences and pure Sciences.
• For PHD courses: The student requires 60% marks in the post-graduation courses: Engineering, social Sciences, medicine, agriculture science, etc.
• For MBBS courses: 60% marks in the required course.

• This is the responsibility of the student to get the visa for a country where they want to continue his/her higher studies.
• This is the duty of the authorities to issue a visa only for study purposes to the candidate, and once they complete their study, the candidate returns to India.

Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scheme Application Details

• As per the guidelines of the Andhra Pradesh Jananabhumi portal, all candidates who are willing to apply for the scheme must fill out their online application with the required documents.
• The documents like cards caste certificate from the village and ward secretariat, the income certificate from the district collector, the ration card, SC certificate and the date of birth certificate, etc, all documents which are mentioned are required.
• The candidate also needs to submit a TOEFL/IELTS/GMAT/GRE Score sheet with the application form.

• The other documents like NEET scorecard for the MBBS course, a letter from the foreign university, latest tax return of the family member, and the national Bank account details of the student, are all mandatory to get the scholarship.
• At the end student also needs to submit a self-certificate to ensure that no one from his family is getting financial assistance from a similar scheme.

The online application is only available on the jananabhumi.ap.gov.in portal. You just need to wait for the registration and application opening by the State Government for the upcoming academic year 2025-26.
